Copyright Policy
At Innovacia Publishers, we respect intellectual property rights and are committed to protecting both client-created content and original work produced through our services.
This Copyright Policy explains ownership, usage rights, and responsibilities related to manuscripts, designs, written content, and creative materials provided or developed through our services.
Ownership of Client Content
Any manuscript, draft, notes, ideas, outlines, or materials submitted by a client remain the intellectual property of the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to submit any material shared with us for editing, publishing, formatting, marketing, or creative development.
Ownership of Work Created by Innovacia Publishers
Content created by Innovacia Publishers as part of a paid service — including ghostwriting, editing, formatting, cover design, and publishing support — becomes the client’s property only after full payment has been completed.
Until payment is completed:
- drafts remain protected work
- internal files remain company property
- incomplete work may not be reused, published, or distributed without permission
Ghostwriting Rights
For ghostwriting projects:
Once the project is fully paid and approved, the final manuscript rights are transferred to the client.
This means:
- the client may publish under their own name
- the client holds rights to the approved final manuscript
- Innovacia Publishers does not claim public authorship unless agreed for portfolio use
Drafts, internal notes, and unused concepts remain protected internal work unless otherwise transferred.
Editing and Formatting Services
For editing, proofreading, formatting, and publishing support:
Original ownership remains with the client.
Our editing contribution improves structure, language, and presentation but does not transfer ownership away from the client.
Design and Cover Materials
Book covers, promotional graphics, branding elements, and design materials created by Innovacia Publishers become client property after full payment, unless third-party licensed assets are used under separate licensing terms.
Certain stock elements, licensed fonts, or licensed graphics may remain subject to original usage rights.
Client Responsibility for Submitted Material
Clients must ensure submitted materials do not infringe on third-party copyrights.
This includes:
- copied manuscripts
- unauthorized text
- unlicensed images
- protected content owned by others
Innovacia Publishers is not responsible for copyright violations originating from client-submitted materials.
Unauthorized Use of Our Work
No content, designs, writing samples, service descriptions, graphics, or materials from Innovacia Publishers may be copied, reproduced, republished, or distributed without written permission.
This includes:
- website content
- service descriptions
- branding materials
- original written samples
Unauthorized use may result in legal action where applicable.
Publishing Platform Responsibility
When publishing through external platforms such as:
- Amazon
- IngramSpark
- Barnes & Noble
clients remain responsible for ensuring final uploaded content complies with copyright rules of those platforms.
